There are a variety of services held in the benefice each week.
Please click here for details of times and places.
Sunday
On the first Sunday of each month there is a short Family Eucharist at Bury that is suitable for people of all ages.
On the second and fourth Sundays of the month the mid-morning Eucharist is at St Giles’ church in Coldwaltham. This is a traditional service with choir.
On the third Sunday there is a traditional Sung Eucharist at St John’s in Bury. During this service a children’s Sunday Club is held in the school next to the church. The children join the rest of the community for Communion and then share with us what they have been doing.
For those who prefer a quiet Book of Common Prayer Communion service, this is celebrated at 8.00 am on the second and fourth Sundays of the month in Bury and Houghton.
If the early morning is not for you, but you would still like a service taken from the Church of England’s Book of Common Prayer, then Hardham is the place for you.
Please remember to click on the link above for the details of all these services!
Mid-week
On Thursdays at 9.30 am there is a quiet Eucharist at St Giles church. Following the service the church Coffee Shop is open in the nearby Sandham Hall.
Morning and Evening Prayer are also said in Bury church at 8.00 am and 5.00 pm each day from Tuesday to Saturday.
